My name is Jennie Andersson and I have worked as a freelance makeup artist in advertising, TV, film, fashion and a beauty consultant for niche brands since 2004. I have also worked as a trainer for prominent make up- and fragrance brands, such as Laura Mercier and Sisley Paris to name a few. 

After working in the industry for over two decades, I have noticed that the cosmetic  industry has grown tremendously, but in a way it has lost a bit of its soul. The brands that are most successful now are in many cases influencer brands that have no original knowledge of make-up. The focus revolves around their celebrity status and has created a uniformity in the range. The completely uncritical pursuit of the ideal appearance which is also further distorted by AI-generated beauty. The fact that cosmetic surgery has become so good now and accessible to the masses, means that everyone is starting to look more and more the same.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look like the best version of yourself and getting some help along the way, but I want every person to stop and reflect on what is uniquely beautiful about each of us.

Everyone of us has an unique inherent beauty which is linked to the expression of their unique soul, which shines through their physical expression.

The goal of my store is to act as a kind of underground movement where everyone, regardless of appearance, origin or gender, will be helped to dress their own unique appearance in makeup and their unique soul in a carefully selected fragrance.
